Long before Candid Inspections, there were two nine-year-olds who became friends.
We grew up together, built a friendship that eventually became a marriage, started a family, and somewhere along the way discovered that two people who approach the world very differently can make a pretty great team.
Entrepreneurship was part of our story long before home inspections were. William began his career in website development, while Kenna spent 15 years behind the chair as a hairstylist and independent salon owner. Our careers couldn’t have looked more different, but both taught us how much the details matter—and how much people matter.
William has always been the one who wants to know how things work. He’s methodical, observant, and naturally drawn to understanding the systems behind what most people simply see on the surface.
Kenna is the communicator. Her career was built around people—listening, asking questions, solving problems, and making sure the person on the other side of the conversation felt taken care of.
Home inspection gave us an opportunity to build a company around what each of us does best while serving people during one of the biggest decisions they’ll make.
William brings the technical eye, experience, and attention to detail required to thoroughly evaluate a home. Kenna makes sure the experience surrounding that inspection is just as thoughtful—from the first phone call through the questions that come afterward.
